NTPC celebrated its Raising Day completing 46 years of excellence and leadership. On the occasion, Hon'ble Union Minister Power, New & Renewable Energy, Shri R. K. Singh congratulated NTPC for its exemplary journey and its contribution towards nation building. “NTPC is a special company; it is the largest provider of energy to our country, the most important input for growth”, said Shri R K Singh, Hon'ble Union Minister Power, New & Renewable Energy. Shri Singh speaking on the occasion of NTPC’s Raising Day addressing the gathering including the senior management of NTPC at PMI, NTPCNoida and other dignitaries along with the employees and their family members through the digital platform. In his address, Shri Singh shared Company’s achievements, expertise, future goals and also discussed about NTPC’s role in leading India’s energy transition. Shri Singh also appreciated NTPC for passing on approximately 4500 crore to states in last financial year by optimising energy charges. This event is special for every NTPCians as every employee worked round the clock during the lockdown phase not only during the last year but also in 2021 to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the nation.
